Lanny you are looking pretty handsome too. Though I must say And, I'm sure you'll agree with me gentlemen, today is a sad day for single men, as another beauty leaves the available list. And ladies, I'm sure you'll agree that today passes by without even a ripple. 5 Mins most uncomfortable of Lanny’s life. Just for the record Claire your worst 5 mins of the day will come later tonight. Tradition to sing the groom praises and tell you about his many goods points. For those of you that know me, you know that I can’t sing and I won’t lie Claire – I must say you are looking beautiful today, true lady who is kind, intelligent, caring and truly deserves a great Husband. Luckily Lanny got in there before she found someone. A wise man told me, that they say that the Best Man Speech should be as long as it takes the Groom to make love..... I first met Lanny when we served on Submarines. Taking HMS Vengeance out of build, many qualities where developed whilst serving on that boat. Good looks, style, sophistication, a way with the ladies.... Fortunately Lanny wasn’t too jealous of them. This isn’t what today is about, it is about Lanny and the love of his life.... Diving You obviously haven’t heard he is taking Claire to XX for their honeymoon. Claire obviously wasn’t too happy with that until he bought her a new dry suit! They say marriage was made in Heaven, well this one was made on Supply Officer charge course .... Fornication.... for an occasion such as this it is best to keep the speech short. I heard some advice that the Best Man Speech should be as long as it takes the groom to make Love.... Thanks and goodnight. I was asked by the guys on the Stag do last weekend if I had written the speech and I said I hadn’t and was searching for inspiration. Lanny kindly recommended some sites from the internet and after a couple of hours searching I had found some good stuff. Then I remembered that I was supposed to be looking for speeches.
